I would say, Leave them alone! You have pipped eggs and you risk shrink wrapping. If you turn off the lights and make it dark, the little ones will settle down

I used hardboiled brown eggs with (neon)food coloring and they came out great. I also wrap an egg with a piece of silk tie, design towards egg, rubber band around the top and hardboil in water with vinegar this way. Let egg cool then...
I tried the clingwrap method and the whites stuck to the cling wrap. Thumbs down from me on that idea. Guess I'll have to get an egg poacher
