All I know is that the military duct tape is way stronger than what you can buy at the store. It's olive green (of course) and I swear you could tape a person to the ceiling with that stuff.
When a chicken first starts laying, it can be pretty erratic. They can sometimes stop and start laying, or even lay eggs without shells. In a few weeks it usually evens out and they begin to lay regularly.
