Don't feel bad, you haven't failed your chicken, you're doing everything you can.  Some people would kill a sick chicken to stop the sickness from spreading.
I have some golden sebrights that could replace yours.  I am really sorry for your loss.  I remember how sad I am whenever any of my chickens die.
She looks a little chunky for an Old English Game Bantam.  Not any recognized color either.  Maybe a wyandotte mix?
Both pullets.  No hackle or saddle development is showing.  They both do not have pointed tail feathers.  If they were cockerels they would have all of the above.  Except in sebright bantams of course.
I had a bobcat that got a chicken during the day once.  I remember someone bought chickens from me and when I went out 30 minutes later I found a wing on the ground.  In broad daylight.  Pulled it right through the fence.
There are these special lights that look like owl eyes and those sometimes scare off predators.  A trap would work well too.
Wow such nice chickens.  I'm glad that they hatched successfully.  I remember when had sitting hens as soon as the chicks started to hatch or hatch out the ants came.  I lost 4 that way before using the incubator to hatch...
