Hi. I had a hen go broody so I let her sit on a few eggs in the spring. Two hatched, and both chicks were yellow at hatching. Now at about 10-11 weeks old they are white, one has a spek of black on a wing. But, here's the confusing...

I am not an expert but this is what I have gatthered from my research as an "Ameracauna" owner:  Sometimes if feed stores mispell the breed intntionally as Americauna instead of Ameracauna, then it could be that they are selling...
I should also note that the chicks are only about 2 weeks old in the picture when the pale grey was just starting in their wings. Now they are like that all over.
