No such thing as a "good quality hatchery".  You get small birds, and wrong color. 

Are  Australorp roosters cool with each other or are they a 1 man show when hormones kick in?  My chicks come from Urch not hatchery stock.

Try Duane Urch, he lives in MN has good stock and sells adults.

Just got my NN from Urch today and some Australorps          

Runts are cute cause there small but be carful when the bigger chicks getting older, since she will grow slow she can get demolished by bigger chicks.

Are these chicks you talking about or adult chickens? If there chicks/young chickens then Norway rats are ripping the heads off them.
