So who is guilty of actually catching their chickens and trying to look at the color of their earlobes?  I'm about to go out and give it a try.  Was curious to see what a chicken earlobe looks like.LOL!
Howdy all!  Was wanting to get some opinions on rooster breeds.  I am looking to take my little hobby flock to a new level next year and produce more chickens to actually eat, instead of keeping pet hens around for eggs...

I agree with Miss Lydia - lime used around the area, under the pen or in any place that they play(water fowl are great at digging holes in the puddles and causing the topsoil to wash out over time due to filling/dumping playpools, etc)...
