Will chickens eat Earwigs.  I have them all over and could catch some when they come out.

I have 3 adult maran hens along with a bunch of mutt chickens.  Someone is giving me this most beautiful deep rose/mauve egg.  I think its coming from my light blue splash.  Does anone else get eggs that color?
Someone I know had to clean soemthing out of her chickens ear.  I wonder if this one has some kind of krud in there.
How did this turn out? I have a rooster that is starting ti shake and wobble too. Sitting in the dentist chair right now can't check his butt.
Look at their vent area and see if its all pink and inflamed. Thats a sign of lice. I was loosing hens too until I figured that one out.

Have you checked the chickens for lice?  I've had some chickens get thru molt in a couple of weeks and others takes 6 wks.  I have lights on my chickens for 14-16 hrs a day to keep them laying.  Most of that extra light...
