Well actually, I'd wait till after about two weeks when the parents aren't constantly covering them.
As soon as possible, actually. Once they get out of the nest then you can really handle them a bunch and start training.
Wow, up to 5 year lifespan, and live birth...sounds good!
Thanks for the info on the MHC! I'm going to have to try them...How's the breeding cycle? Do they live very long, or are more like crickets?
Good luck with them! Basically, raise them just like you would regular chickens, and then be prepared to separate the stags as they will eventually "game out" and fight to the death. If they're well bred and game) Specific questions...
I guess it needs some getting used to, I find no problem with it. Here's the link right to the classifieds section http://ultimatefowl.com/viewforum.php?f=10
If they are from a hatchery then they are not going to be "real", game, Shamo. That's from those who have tried them. Try the clasifides section on the website that I posted a link to above, plenty of breeders there.
Congrats! That's very early! Are the cuba eggs supposed to be brown or white?
If not raised together from chicks you will often run into problems, but then, as long as she is the only game hen, you may not. Lets see what someone else says.
