Anyone have a design for a nest that uses bedding such as straw hay or something where the egg still roll's away? My chickens like to lay on hay and don't like to lay on hard surfaces. Pictures would be awesome

We had one once it was just a freak accident on the chickens part we cracked it open and it was exactly the same as the big ones just mini it looked just about the same size as yours

I Have the same problem and there may be several way's to fix it one if you get empty egg shells you can fill them with hot sauce ( I mean really HOT sauce or they might like it) and when they peck it they find they don't like the taste...

We used to have a rooster however we got rid of him shortly after this all our chickens began pecking each other and ended up killing one its really bad we have tried giving them more space and we have tried separating them for periods...
