My guess is it was a fox. A fox will run around trying to kill all the chickens.   Where do you live?

I saw a video on YouTube in which the person said that more cockerels/roosters are hatched than pullets when a hen hatches eggs naturally when compared to hatching chicks in an incubator.   Is this true?
