I don't have problems with disease, but I think that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and as I plan to show the birds, it just seems like a good idea.      I hadn't thought of doing it at night,...
If I have a broody hen hatch & raise chicks, can I take them, vaccinate them, and put them back?  
any ideas?

Mine have not gone broody yet. I'm not breeding them, it was one of those "how cool let's go get a couple" moments, and I ended up with three hens. The breeder said they are the greenfire farms line.
