near my house is a man who breeds and sells buff orpingtons, roosters, and day olds I bought chicks off him a couple weeks ago got a bag of feed with them, message me and I can give you the details and may be able to find his number......
My chicks have been out in the coop since they were a week in a half, I live in Maine. They're doing just fine and have been out there for about a week or two. Actually the 2 young buff orpingtons are outside now with our two 5 week...
I know that when our dog had worms they looked like rice, or little maggots and the vets said that they were tape worms. Have no idea if that's what they are just telling my experience with worms.
I checked them out today and chick #1 does have VERY red wattles and a redder comb, so I'm thinking he's deffinately a roo! The other chick's wattles and comb are lighter in color but both chicks' wattles are about the same size.....
**** Forgot to mention that both chicks still have part of the unbilicord still attached to their tummies. One has more of it left there than the other.
