i just did this BR roo x RIR hen earlier this year.  i also had a new hampshire, columbian rock hens in there too and a couple black sex linked hens...ALL the chicks were black with white tummies and white spots on the head. ...

they yellow one looks buff to me, my new hampshire was quite a bit more burnt golden colour than yellow.

maybe send an email to your friends that work in busy offices or something and see if they can save cartons for you?  that's how i get mine (now i do chicken eggs, and while i have the occasional massive egg, it's rare)...?
