great idea on the lights, but i would have built a larger coop if I realized i needed to actually PUT them on the roost.  I am sure they will be fine but I want them to learn asap.  Since they are sued to roosting themselves...

If you look at this picture you can see I have an inside and outside to my coop and I was thinking I needed to secure my girls inside.  But the lady who gave me the chickens said she just "puts them to bed" by locking the pen...
