give them some bread. You can let them forge outside, My six chickens, their about 2 months old, They feed themselves i hardly ever feed them and they are big fatties lol!

Hello everybody! If anyone wants some baby chicks please PM me! I need to get rid of them. I'm keeping some but I bought them from a hatchery and they sent me way to many! Some are silkies cochins etc etc. I just cant keep them all. :)...

Thanks for sharing I'm so sorry I Had to put my baby down she is struggling way to much shes half the size of her hatch mates. I'm trying to get into processing my own chickens. But some i get way to attached to. best of luck!

Omgosh I'm so sorry! How did you put her/him down? I'm going to have my father put Tweakers down I think Its sad she spends all her time trying to eat and dont get to be a chicken :(( So upset

Well Tweakers is getting worse she can barely eat by herself but I found a infant med dropper.. I cut the pointy tip off and mixed a bowl of chick starter and warm water into a soupy mash... I fed her with the dropper seemed to work...
