lavender Muscovy drake!!! We went to a tailgate today and bought all of our excess ducks/drakes. And I decided to bring our dear Elvis since our ladies are hatching some of his eggs.....honestly I didn't think anybody would have wanted...
I think a rouen is a rouen is a rouen if you get what I am saying lol.....however there is the exhibition rouen and the hatchery stock rouen....you probably just have hatchery stock as there is no such thing a mallard colored pekin

They may not have been mating at all. Our muscovies do this when they are both in the pool, and they are female. Its a dominance thing. I looked at the pictures you posted and your muscovy looks like a female but maybe not? Do you know...
