Hello all,   I was wondering if it is ok to raise different breeds together? I'm not too sure if chickens are like beta fishes.

So, I'm in the Fredericksburg area and would like to know where I can buy supplies; does anyone have some input? BTW, I'm new to all of this, and just tring to map a gameplan.
