What's amazing is these have laid all winter long, some huge green eggs!!  Our Red Stars stopped for about 2 months and went through a complete mote, but these just kept on going, and still are, and have not really gone broody,...

About 7 lbs on the hens, havn't weighed a roo yet.  About 2 lbs more would be a guess.

I'm still working on the Araucana and Jersey Giant Crossbreeds, We've got huge Lavender/Grey Hens laying huge green eggs, but am crossing one with a lavender Jersey Giant Roo, Not sure they'll maintain their green eggs, but am hopeful!!

Thanks for the info, to put it simple, it's just plain weird!!  lol, you would think they wouldn't even know they laid!!
