Hi there, I have 4 hens and 3 drakes. They are all a year old come june. None of them have begun to lay yet.   Is this normal? I was told they would lay at 6 months.

the little egg turned out to be from one of my chickens. It had a perfect little yolk inside and she laid 2 more just like it. her eggs have scence grown but not too much so.

Thank you, yes This is why we were needing to find out whom was who in our little petting zoo. It is time for the big boys to find new homes as sad as it will make me to see them leave they are all so lovey. I will keep one muscovy...

About a month or so ago my ducks started pulling feathers like crazy, soon after both of my hens stopped laying eggs. Will they start again or are they done for good. Help!!
