At my house, if they get to 8 lbs, it's time!  Regardless of age.  Usually it is between 7-8 weeks.

It's only day 26 and I got my first poult!  The others are rocking and 3 more have pipped!  They just want out.  My 6 year old is glued to the incubator!
Bourbons are great.  I have two incubators with them right now and a hen sitting on 10 eggs.  One incubator on lockdown and due to hatch on Wednesday.  I hope you have as much of an adventure as I am having.  Good...
