Thanks everyone. I was thinking leghorn but the spots threw me off.  

Any ideas what breed she is? Maybe a mutt? 5 months old. She gives us 1 white egg just about every day.          

Just put 25 pints of freezer jam up this past weekend (strawberry and peach).   We also made pickles, salsa, and put 10 dozen ears of corn and 2 bushels of green beans in the freezer.  

If it were a mistake, I would have made her understand that it cannot and will not happen again. In order to press charges against her and get a conviction there must have been evidence to the contrary.
