I am so sorry.    I am out daily spritzing my birds with vanilla mixed with water. I also hang dryer sheets on all the windows or wire, and I spray those down as well.   They are crazy here, too.

Bumping thread because it is that time of year again.

Vanilla mixed in water helps keep the gnats off. I have also sprayed vanilla body spray from B&BW on them. Please search BYC for buffalo gnats.    Whole flocks can be killed by them.

A lot of people provide wood ashes for dust bathing to control lice and mites.

You could always put them outside in a coop and get a kitten... I hear they like to snuggle.
