Oregon Blues, Thanks for your opinion too! :)  We really only wanted ducks for eggs but these were straight run, so we'll see who we end up with. ;)

Thank you!!!  I just looked up images of Swedish ducks and ducklings and I am pretty sure that's what we have. :)

Oh and if it helps any, my profile pic is of the ducks when they were babies.  Einstein and Sunflower are the black and yellow and brown and yellow ones in the pic. :)

We were told that these were Magpies when we bought them as ducklings.  I have been researching the coloring on Magpies and I don't think that's what they are.  Can anyone help me figure out what breed we have?...

Beautiful plumage!  We have Magpie (regular) ducklings and I can't wait to see what their coloring turns out to be :)

 Here is a pic of the Pekin with the leg problems...any ideas on how to correct this?  We are still giving it niacin via vitamins and brewer's yeast.  It gets around just fine but I just hate seeing it like this....

I crushed up three tablets in their large waterer.  Here's hoping to see improvement within the next two or three days.  If not, then we'll go the forcing it down their gullet route. ;)

Zooweemama, That is a fabulous idea!  And much easier than trying to get a duck to swallow something they don't want to.
