I'm in Sumner(fam in Buckley) and in the market for a few more hens and a rooster. Just heard about Bradley farm,waiting for a reply from them.  

This may be a mute point for me now, anyway, as I have just discovered a local breeder of several varieties that I want. Still, this thread or the creation of an appropriate sub-forum might be useful for others who wish to combine...

But what forum do I put it in? I realize that I will need to include my physical location.

The "where are you?" forum seems totally dominated by the State threads and those move so fast my inquiry would likely just be swept up in the current. Maybe the states(or reasonably sized geologic regions) should have their own...

I want to find some local folks(county or two radius) that will go in on an order of chicks,(as I want 5 not 25) but I don't know what the appropriate or preferred forum would be. I see: "Raising baby chicks" "Chicken breeders...

I was just asking, there are a lot of folks who don't plan ahead.(could have had 20 geese in a suburban backyard for all I knew) I like the garden and fruits suggestion of CelticOaks. Without knowing what kind of ground you have...
