She ignores them when we are watching her, but when nobody is around that's when she does it. We've tried training her, and nothing seems to work. I think she just tries to play with them and it ends up hurting them, but I'm not sure....

Ive taken wet chicks out before, put them in the brooder in my room and they dried out faster than the ones in the bator did. So you should be good to take the guys out

Haha my styro bator was my best investment yet. Traded it for two laying hens. 
Well I have no clue what breeds mine were, because they were bought for eating eggs and once I found out they were fertile,in the bator they went xD I was just guessing. Yellow chick, orange feet, single comb.
