I'm probably just going to sell. Are there a lot of npip tested birds usually? Sounds fun anyway I will be there. Wanted to have one in Bangor but then I moved to augusta anyway just haven't had the chance to go to any yet
Maybe a silly question but what does a swap involve? Never been to one but I'd really like to check it out
I'm fairly new to hatching and I've been using the little giant... First hatch was 0%, second hatch I had three out of 20, and my last hatch was 20 out of 22! Only thing I did different was I only filled up one of the reservoirs until...
YAY! Thats good to hear!!! I will probably message you in a month or so about eggs. I'm worn out from all the chicks running around right now I need a mini-break and then I'm sure I'll be hatching again . Thanks!!!!!
So as she grows more she'll lose all that color on her tail/back area? I'll have to take a picture in sunlight so you can see it more clearly, but problem is it's been cloudy everyday!!!   And I really, really want more ...
You guys have some beautiful birds :) Here's my little pullet!! Besides the bit of gold I think she's so PRETTY!! Not sure how I'm going to make the wait all the way into June for chicks...
I've noticed that my pullet has developed a few gold feathers. They just appeared the last couple of days. I don't want to cull her but I also don't want to breed her in the future if this is undesirable.
Of all the different breed threads on here you guys seem the most passionate about your birds! I love it!!
Ordering 10 IB chicks from Sandhill. Will be getting them in late May....oh the suspense.... Hoping I'll get some good breeding quality birds out of the order
Thanks for all that historical info in the archive. I really enjoyed reading it and it makes me even more excited about the breed. Where do you think the yellow chicks with brown striping came from?
