this looks like a great place for potential are you getting bantams or standerd size chickens

It didnt say chickens will scratch there nests up and break all the eggs now did it?

i will put a peice of wood up first thing in the morning!! and im soo happy that you agree that some people say some really smart things and are just very rude!!  do you have bantams or standerd chickens?

i think a  piece of wood might be a great idea i never really thought of that!! my nest box is basically a rectangle about a foot off the ground with 2 separate places for hens and has pine shavings in it with no peice of wood in...

Well, Evey time i put somthing in the coop (like shavings, or hay or thing like that) they always are thinking its food and they ruin it by eating it or scratching it and making it bad IS THERE ANY WAY IN THE WORLD TO MAKE THEM...
