This chick escaped the brooder tonight as I was refilling their water. The hens pecked her skin clean off her head before I found her. What can we do to save her? The skin is gone from her head.

I asked a friend how her chickens lay eggs with such deep yellow/orange yolks. She does not allow her chickens to free range like ours do. She said its because she pours cinnamon on their feed.
