Most likely a bacteria problem from extended use of equiptment. Make sure you clean everything real well between hatches.

I got 3 different breeds of chiockens from them and didn't like the quality of any of them.Wouldn't order from them again.
I keep lots of straw in the coup for them in the winter and they do good. Some breeds are better than others for wintering over though.

I got spured one of my polish. I do have an ameraucana that is my nicest roo. I find my samatras to nice, but i get a protective one every now and then that likes to attack.I too believe it all depends on the individual bird.
They can be sexed at 1 day but i can't tell you how.
i've got somke columbian w. and they lay small eggs compared to my other breeds, so i will probably eat them this fall.
