Well I don't know what kind of animal would be making bite marks, but snakes have very small teeth or none at all. A snake with venom would only leave two tooth marks from fangs, although one without would probably leave very many...

I don't know for sure what breed of chickens you have, but most likely they are produce chickens because of their classic yellow feathers. It is probably a good idea to look up yellow chicks or different breeds on Google or Bing...
