Does anyone know of anywhere in NH (or near by) that does chicken processing?  I tried Lemay's but they do not process chickens.  Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!
I ran out of duckling food today and had to give them egg layer food for the day.  Is that harmful if just eaten once?
My hens lost a lot of feathers due to having too many roosters (which have since gone to the dinner table).  They were still all acting completely normal and laying tons of eggs.  Recently egg production has dropped...
My ducks and chickens live together and get along great.  However, the drake can be a bit rough with the hens.  Other than that, they're one big, happy, healthy flock.
I'm not sure where you are located, but Al's Quackery in Saco, ME has a great variety of runner ducks.  They are all healthy and are very good birds.
We finally moved the ducklings out to the coop with the others yesterday.  Thank God because I couldn't take the mess anymore.  Now they can be messy in the coop where they belong. And I agree...they make up for the mess...
