So my second silkie began to crow today. My two silkies were crowing, one after the other this morning at 5:30am. That means both are roos, right??

Really! My buff orpingtons are the same age. The "rooster looking" one is the biggest of the flock.  One of our silkies (darker one) woke us up with 'his" crowing about two days ago but hasn't done it again.  I will stay...
I really hope you are right! Out of 6 chickens, I've been told 4 (2 Silkies, 2 Buff Orpingtons) are roos.
