Lost the rooster he had become too thin by the time I fiqured out the problem. Cleaned the coop, dusted the birds, dusted the coop. Hens are finally able to free range and do lots of sand dusting( snow finally left this week)...
I only have 5 chickens , so I planned on dusting each one,letting them out in the yard and then cleaning the coop , dust the coop ant put new bedding down. Does that sound ok, or too much dust? They are really infested.

mY CHICKENS ARE INFESTED WITH MITES! I bought Garden and poutry dust. Can I use it in their bedding if I feed them in their hutch?. Will there eggs be ok to eat? I hate using pesticides, but they have them BAD!

ok, so what do you do for worming? how often? I have had chickens for 10 months only and have never treated for worms. I really appreciate all the advice,couldn't do it with out everyone's tips.
Don't see any lice, he has lost weight, but is still eating. Head feathers seem puffed , but overall looks like he is not preening. his beutiful gray and white feathers have become dirty. And again pale comb and head area. My 4 hens...
