i dry incubate and add water when i stop turning but yes, the humidity must be too high.  i threw out all my old hygrometers and am opting for new ones along with thermometers. Thanks for all the opinions and insight.
Had some chicks not hatch, even though pipped and some shell gone.  They seem to be gooded in thieir shells. Plenty of humidity.  What causes this slimeyness that cements them in?
I have a couple of maran girls that I should be AIing.  The male is very intimidating.  One of them followed me around to make sure I would not put her back in his bachelor pad!
