They are active little buggers aren't they?   They kick all their shavings out by the end of the day.     I finally had to get them a water dispenser for rabbits.

OK, I'm now officially addicted to Araucana...I lost count after 75 eggs went in the incubator...just added over a dozen more today.  LOL!

I keep Wheaten Marans and yes, the Wheaten coloration IS sex-able once they begin to feather out.  The male wings will have black in them as well as their tail and shoulder feathers.  The pullets are a soft brown...like the...
