I have female standard Rhode Island Red and Americauna (Easter Egger-blue eggs!) chicks. I also have bantam white Cochin, Belgian Duccle, buff/blue and black Silkies. Chicks hatched 4/1. $6.50 each with Silkies being $8 each.

unfortunately this is a genetic problem. Best you can do is to keep the beak trimmed. They should get along fine as long as your able to keep the beaks trimmed. I just wouldn't breed from them.
