I have an LG still air and I'm using it with a turner.  I'm on day 12.  Started with 20 Silkie eggs...I dropped one when candling at day 4 I think...I thought only 9 were viable but I have 10 viable...the others were either...

ALL those pictures and yet no picture of the one thing people were on pins and needles to see - The Chicks??  Was this made up just to bring some egg-citement into BYC??  Was that just a regular egg being cracked open?? ...

orschelin's is having their chick days already???  I'm in MO too!  I have to call them this morning and see if the closest one to us has their chicks...oh no....i feel another chick fest going on!!! 

great question I want to know too!  Also, on what day do you give up??  day 22, 23, 24, etc???

I ditto that DE is the way to go...and I don't sprinkle a lot..a little goes a long way...and no smell...I love it and so does my nose!

RIR.  Mine lays with or without light, winter, summer, fall, spring...whatever season and time...she lays and has been consistent...and very, very sweet!
