Here's a cute baby picture! We just got these 4, and it cracked me up that one went under the warmer and the others were looking like "Where are you going??"
My hatch along eggs! As you can see, we have 1 extra. Does anyone know if I can leave it on top like that? I just didn't want to put another rail in for just one rail...bad planning :)

The eggs had been incubating for a week already, so that might throw off her clock a bit, but hopefully will be ok. If not, we'll just put them inside with the others. I'm not sure if they're going to hatch though, because yesterday...
We have a Barred Rock that has gone broody. This is our first broody hen, and I'm excited! We put 2 fertile eggs under here that we were incubating to see if she hatches them. I've read through this thread. Should we leave her in the box...
