I have a Ameracauna hen that is about 11 months old that is coughing and losing feathers around her neck.  I can't find any illness that has both sx, so I'm wondering if there are two things going on - some molting and a respiratory...

Awesome.  I put the feeder and the waterer up on blocks and now I have very little spilled food and fewer shavings in the water (we have that problem, too, but I just thought it was inevitable).  Wooot!

This thread rocks.  We live in Seattle, where you can recycle just about everything curbside.  So, we do a lot of recycling, but it's easy so we can't take a lot of credit for it.  We compost like crazy.  Big yard...
