Don't use kitty litter they will eat it. Use Cedar chips you can buy a big bag of devils tower or equal brand for about 10.00 from a farm store. They are messy, they do smell and it doesn't change or get better. You change diapers...

Rosecomb-RyanYes, When you look at the type of a wild Muscovy they are near the same [b :type wise[/b] ,just smaller,  then Show Muscovies. Birds you I see today as backyard pets, have a off head and off type for either one....

The blood typing on Muscovy shows there is Comb duck. They could have acquired it in the wild, or in early domestication but it is there. I would have thought someone with your expertise would have known what is in the DNA of the Muscovy.

If you want to breed geese, can you imprint them on humans? Or do they have to imprint on geese?

I would assume, and of course this is an assumption based on basic genetics, that given the black (blue, Lavender, silver etc) and brown, (chocolate, fawn, cream etc) base and dilutions there of, that do not exist commonly in nature,...
