I just checked my hen again for feathering and she does have it down both outsides of her legsabout 1.5" long apprx. will it get fuller, should it be really full by now? She is 16 weeks apprx

I am not understand the difference between booted and non booted? Assuming it is more feathering on the leg? But  a Duccle is not disqualified from judging if it has booting?? Thanks in advance for any answers

That is what I was afraid of, probably why they were sold in the first place as baby chicks to me :( Bummed, they were supposed to be very good quality... Would anyone like a  Roo ? LOL I guess I will be looking for a hen or two...

glad that at least my Maran appears to be a Hen Too bad about the feathering. But wondering what I should be looking for in terms of coloring for a great copper maran as she grows - Thanks in advance for your help :) 

Apprx 16 weeks, She was born I believed on Dec 8th :) ?  I purchased her on Dec 21 apprx. as a 3 week old ??  She was sold as a Black French Copper Maran.  Does anyone know more about the breed :) ?  PS...
