Just wanted to add that that looks like a normal comb to me. Even if it's a mild pox, it'll probably just run its course and go away shortly. Nothing to worry about here.

For what it's worth, my rooster did that too, after some frost bite. I just figured it must have stung or felt weird and he was trying to shake it off.   Hope that's all it is!

Leather gloves! Some hens just hate you coming near when they're sitting, esp if they're broody.   If this is a new behavior, I'd guess she's broody.
