Newbie to pigeons here. I have long admired them for their beauty and calm nature. Last week I got my first Indian Fantails. Two pair from Rick of Rick's Loft in Colorado. Here are pics of them.

Yes, start a large fowl Silkie program! I've wanted to do this for years. Can you imagine Silkies, the size of a Jersey Giant? How magnificent!

Wow! I've never heard of Mandarins laying this time of year.

In your/our defense how could one not love a furry little chicken! Love my Silkies, each has their own personality and all are docile. One or two bossy hens but they are still docile, just more eager to have their treats.
