Four weeks is a bit young to tell for sure, but I'd say for now, that they do look quite feminine. They have a bias toward black and there is no sign of pink in the combs yet.
Good luck with what ever they are. At least you can still eat them. There are cases every year of such things and it's really devastating to the poor people who buy layers and end up with meat birds.
The first night is always the hardest. Hope you can find that boy!
Sounds like you have a special chicken there. Much like the few special boys who have been recorded crowing at 3 days old.
If she's at your roost, or someone else's roost, she will go through the pecking order initiation.  It's sad to see, but necessary from the chicken view. It'll take a week or two, but she'll adjust. Of course, it's up to you...

I'm going to say other hens are laying in the nest. I would try and sneak in to label them during the one time she is off the eggs. Or at least just take a pencil and draw a line on all of them. Much faster than writing a date.
You can put them in at night, but if they aren't let out right at sun light, either way the new birds will get a beating in the morning and subsequent evenings.   And LOL. Congrats on your hen! If she's laying... may as well...
Just as a note, chicken pus isn't liquid like mammal pus. It would form a hard cottage cheese like lump.
