Hi everyone, I have not been able to get on the computer sometime.We had high hopes for the last treatment to work for me. However it did not. i HAVE ABOUT 2 Months or it could be 2 weeks. We don't know at this point.I have turned my life over to the Lord, it makes my journey a lot ea:frowser.L

Hi Bob,Wow! you are a God send. It would be great if you would re-home my kids.I have 5 roosters, that could be sent to freezer camp. That would be OK with me. I have 4 RR hens. Good Morning all,I have a problem that I hope all you chicken lovers  can help me with. Due to my illness I can no longer care for my flock. I would like to re home them all. I have 3 RR, standard size. The rest are bantams, I have Frizzle, Black and white I have cochin , white, black. I EE. all the girls are laying eggs. I also have 4 Frizzle Roosters, I golden lace cochin. One a mix of sultan and cochin. Those could be butchered The Bantams are 10-11 months old. Fryer...
Good morning all, It looks like a wonderful day starting up, clear and cool, YES!   I need to find out, how hot does the water need to be to dip the chickens for plucking? It has bee a long time sense I butchered a chicken, and I forgot. Hope someone can help me.  Winter in the desert is somewhat like spring. I have planted some flowers, and can really enjoy setting outside without melting.  Have a good day everyone.

Karl, A happy birthday to your wife. She is not old just the perfect age. Got to love the 40's. She is way young yet. Almost everyone freaks out about age. Age is a state of mind. If you think you are old then you are old. Young at heart and young of thought.   
What do Columbian Bantam Cochin, look like? I don't think I have ever seen one. I love my Cochin bantams. Will he have lots of colors? Boy oh boy, I had no idea so many people came from MI. and lived in the Boonies. I had chickens when I lived there. I would buy 200 mixed at a time, all Leghorns. When the Roos were fryer size I would butcher all but 2. When my hens were 2 years old I would butcher them for stewing chickens. My kids (5 of them) all had pet chickens, Polish and assorted breeds.
