All 5 of mine failed:( Cracked them open today and just chick soup inside. Must have quit about day 5 ?? Second failed hatch. Now putting mad hatch into lockdown tonight. Hope i get SOMETHING from this lot.

I had the same problem with this incubator and the chicks drowned. Soak up the water with a paper towel and run it dry until lockdown. It will hold at about 30-40 % humidity with no added water which is ideal.

I used a piece of electrician's tape. Sorted.

I don't have any tray on mine. I just set the eggs on the base. I have used cut down egg boxes when i needed the eggs to stay upright.
