We found a cheap countertop and put that under the roosting board. I am amazed at all the poop in the morning. I then use my handy  dandy paint scraper and into the compost bucket it goes.

No Cochin expert here, but they appear to be roos. How old are they? I have one who is 15 weeks old and she doesn't have a bit of comb yet, or any redness on her face.

we are working on the bird's run today. They will have a nice big area, but part of it is covered in moss and is along a tree line  in the woods.Will the moss hurt them?They also have access to some sand, and grass area.
