Going to lockdown now.  These suckers were only turned for a day and a half.  GAH!!!  Who knows what insanity is about to ensue.  I candled, and the vast majority look fine... with movement.  Guess it's hard to...
What would happen if I discovered that my egg turned was unplugged...but I didn't discover it until day 16-17?  It's been a little bonkers around here, and I am wondering what the heck is gonna happen with these...
I am trying to learn as I go with Marans, and I want to keep the best!  :)  After looking out there, it looks like about 5 or so of my 5-9 week olds are roos, so there are possibilities, if he's not a keeper! 
Hi!    Need some advice.  I am trying to decide if I should keep this 8 month old blue copper roo, or try for better in our 8 week olds and chicks.  We do not have the facilities to keep lots of breeding...
I want to make it worth my while (so, not small!), but be tender.  And, cost effective (months on feed) would always be nice!  ;)

No, that's what I want to hear!  I thought his eyes were awfully dark!  I am trying to improve with each generation, and I need to know what to look for when the next group of roos get older.  I just have to figure out...
Okay... see if these pictures work better!  My girls are skiddish, and these are only 4 of the 12+.  Not a good shot!  Right now, we only have 1 breeding coop, and the lav. orps are in it.  I am antsy for my husband...
