I have a gosling !! Only one out of the four "Easter eggs" made it. Two died hatching and one didn't pip. Any tips on raising a single? Right now it has a there week old chick in with it for company. Is there any way to sex a white...
Yes I read petes hatching guide before I started incubation and have refered back to it several times Thanks for the thoughts
The second gosling died. I still have one that has external pop. It is making a lot of noise. Hopefully this one makes it
Still alive, I'm keeping my hands to myself a.d. trying not to interfere
The one that is bleeding still has unabsorbed yolk about the size of my thumb. Doesn't look good.
I came home to find one dead partially hatched, the other is bleeding alot. It is not fully out yet the third has pipped but I'm afraid I will lose it too please help
Are the babies better off in a brooder with a solid bottom or a wire bottom, what is the ideal brooding temp, I'm more nervous about these sebastapol than I was my daughter.
More hatching progress this morning . I see bills and a foot. There out of four are doing stuff. But I had to go to work.
