your EE is definitely a pullet. The color pattern is exclusive to the sex in my experience.
anyone have a fix for a brand new hovabator egg turner not turning? i guess the eggs are no good if it has been several days not turning? i thought it was odd it was always tilted the same direction.nothing ever does what it is supposed...
i did, worked fine. made a little shelter for them to go under and set on the pad.
that seems too long to me too. it depends on how big your bator is. i made one that was about 3 square feet inside and a 60 watt heated it nicely. either you need more heat or you are losing too much heat.
